Writer's Block Is Fake

Writer's block is FAKKKKEEEEEE!!!!

My client told me she couldn't post today because she had writer's block. Buullssshhheeeet!

Writer's block isn't real. It's just perfectionism.

The Proof

Here's how I know:

If I told you to write a really shitty, awful, terrible, totally unoptimized post in the next 5 minutes, you could 100% do it.

So it's not that you CAN'T write. It's that you're afraid to write something bad.

The Truth

We love saying "I have writer's block" because it sounds So0o0oOoO creative and tortured and cool.

But what we REALLY mean is: "I'm scared this won't be good enough."

And that fear? It's the same thing that keeps people from sharing the stories they're scared to tell. It's perfectionism dressed up as a creative struggle.

The Fix

Write the worst post you can. Give yourself 5 minutes. Make it terrible ON PURPOSE!!

Then hit publish.

You'll survive. I promise.

Let Go

And you'll realize the block was never about writing. It was about letting go of perfect.

Here's the thing: the people who succeed at building their personal brand aren't the ones who wait for inspiration. They're the ones who keep showing up, even when the writing feels terrible.

Stop waiting for perfect. Start writing something bad on purpose. The block will disappear the moment you stop caring if it's good enough.

Give yourself 5 minutes right now and write the worst post you can. Then hit publish.
